The required element occupies a position in its container that cannot
be made visible, even by scrolling. This is because another element is
already selected. Since all further processing steps require the
selected element to be visible, the element cannot be selected.

Edit the elements in the container one after the other, and ensure that
the next element you want to edit is always in the visible part of the
container.
