What causes this issue?

It is not possible to make entries in all the (not locked) data cells
and their total cells at the same time because the value in the total
cell will not automatically be the same as the sum of the individual
data cells. This is also the case if you want to change the value of a
total or a subtotal and all the subordinate subtotals are locked.

System Response

The entries are returned to their original values.

How to fix this error?

If you want to change the value of a total cell, your can only change
n-1 (not locked) data cells that belong to this total at the same time.
Data cells from locked subordinate subtotals are also always locked
when entered in a superordinate total or subtotal.
