What causes this issue?

In principle it is possible to lock totals or sub totals with the value
zero. Note that if you enter a value greater than zero in a subordinate
data cell, negative values may occur in other unlocked data cells.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
