What causes this issue?

You want to retrieve archived documents.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

This should only be done in exceptional cases, when there is no other
alternative. If, for example, the number range of a document category
was changed, the archived documents can no longer be included in the
system.

How to fix this error?

Check that the documents can be retrieved without problems, and if they
can, choose "Yes".
