What causes this issue?

The selection criteria you specified will result in long runtimes. To
avoid this, specify additional selection criteria.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

If you use the assortment type as a selection criterion, you also have
to specify the material and/or hierarchy ID and hierarchy node to select
data records from the purchasing list.
If you use the purchasing organization as a selection criterion, you
also have to specify the purchasing group. If you specify the purchasing
group, you also have to specify the purchasing organization.
If you use the processing procedure as a selection criteria, you have to
specify other restrictions as well.
