you can only schedule an assignment until the end date of the node
    validity period.

Adjust the "Valid to" date of the assignments in such a way that they do

    error will not be issued.

Smart SAP Assistant

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message WRF_ARTICLE_SCREENS036 - Valid to date &1 of assignment cannot lie after the &2 ?
    The SAP error message:
WRF_ARTICLE_SCREENS036 Valid to date &1 of assignment cannot lie after the &2
typically occurs in the context of article master data maintenance, particularly when dealing with validity periods of assignments or relationships (e.g., article assignments to sales organizations, distribution channels, or other organizational units).

    Cause
This error indicates that the "Valid To" date of a particular assignment or relationship is set earlier than the "Valid From" date or violates the logical sequence of validity dates. In other words, the system expects the "Valid To" date to be on or after the "Valid From" date, but the entered dates contradict this rule.
For example, if you try to assign an article to a sales organization with:

    Valid From: 01.01.2024
    Valid To: 31.12.2023

The system will throw this error because the "Valid To" date (31.12.2023) is before the "Valid From" date (01.01.2024).

    Solution

    Check the Validity Dates:

Review the "Valid From" and "Valid To" dates
