Generic materials can be expanded to their characteristic levels,
depending on the settings for operational Assortment Planning and
Control: <DS:TRAN.WRFAPC23>Sequence of Characteristics</>

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

If you want to expand to the next planning level, change the settings
for operational Assortment Planning and Control, either by adding an
entry for the desired characteristic level or by enabling the already
existing entry for the corresponding view (overview or detail view).
