    SAP Error Message:
WR112 - Revaluation would lead to a negative sales value in storage location &

    Cause:

This error occurs during the revaluation of inventory when the system detects that the revaluation would result in a negative sales value (sales price or sales-related valuation) for the specified storage location. In other words, the revaluation process tries to reduce the value of inventory below zero for sales purposes, which is not allowed in SAP.

This situation can arise due to:

    • Incorrect or inconsistent valuation data.
    • Revaluation settings that do not align with the actual stock or sales values.

    • Issues with the valuation class or account determination.
    • Incorrect configuration of the sales value in the material master or valuation area.

    Solution:

To resolve the WR112 error, consider the following steps:

    1. Check Stock and Valuation Data:

      • Verify the stock quantities and values in the affected storage location.
      • Use transaction MB52 or MMBE to check stock levels.
      • Use MB5B or MB5L to check stock value and movement.
    2. Review Revaluation Parameters:

      • Check the revaluation method and parameters used.
      • Ensure that the revaluation does not reduce the sales value below zero.
      • Adjust the revaluation price or method if necessary.
    3. Check Material Master Data:

      • Verify the sales value settings in the material master (transaction MM03).
      • Check the valuation class and account determination settings.
    4. Correct Negative Stock or Incorrect Postings:

      • Investigate if there are any negative stock postings or inconsistencies.
      • Correct any erroneous postings or stock adjustments.
