What causes this issue?

The function module for forming the interface between assortments and
integrated material maintenance is not filled in table TWPA.

System Response

You can neither create nor maintain materials.

How to fix this error?

Please ask your system administrator to enter the correct function
module (the SAP standard is ASSORTMENT_VERSION_ALL) in Customizing
under "General control, Retail master data".
