What causes this issue?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

System Response

Where no value has been entered, the system applies a default value.
This can be changed in Customizing.
If, for example, no entry is made in the <LS>maximum node number</>
field (or zero is entered), then the default value set in Customizing is
used instead.
