What causes this issue?

The intermediate document contains counting items for materials
for which no active inventory document items exist.

System Response

The system created a work item for these materials.

How to fix this error?

Carry out the work item. The system then creates physical inventory
documents and enters the quantities of stock counted for the
materials contained in the work item at the same time.
