  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message WG077 - No entry in table "Aggregate taxes". POS sales upload for profile & ?

    SAP Error Message:
WG077 No entry in table "Aggregate taxes". POS sales upload for profile &?

    Cause:

This error occurs during the POS (Point of Sale) sales data upload process when the system attempts to determine aggregate tax information for a particular sales profile but cannot find the corresponding entry in the "Aggregate taxes" table.

    • The "Aggregate taxes" table (usually table T007S or related tax aggregation tables) contains predefined tax aggregation keys that group individual tax codes for reporting and calculation purposes.
    • If the POS sales upload profile references an aggregate tax key that does not exist or is not maintained in the system, the system throws this error.
    • This typically happens when:
      • The tax aggregation keys are missing or incomplete.
      • The POS profile is configured with an aggregate tax key that is not maintained.
      • The tax condition records or tax codes used in the POS profile are not properly linked to aggregate tax keys.

    Solution:

    1. Check the POS Sales Upload Profile:

      • Go to the POS sales upload profile configuration (transaction WPOS or relevant IMG path).
      • Identify the aggregate tax key assigned to the profile.
    2. Maintain Aggregate Taxes:

      • Use transaction OBQ1 or navigate via IMG path: SPRO -> Sales and Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Basic Settings -> Check Calculation Procedure -> Maintain Aggregate Taxes
      • Verify if the aggregate tax key used in the POS profile exists.
      • If missing, create or maintain the aggregate tax key with the correct tax codes and percentages.
    3. Verify Tax Codes and Condition Records:

      • Ensure that the tax codes used in the POS profile are correctly maintained and linked to the aggregate tax keys.
      • Check condition records for tax codes (transaction VK11, VK12) if applicable.
    4. Re-upload or Reprocess the POS Sales Data:

      • After maintaining the aggregate tax keys, retry the POS sales upload.

    Related Information:

    • Table T007S: Contains aggregate tax keys and their descriptions.
    • Transaction OBQ1: Maintain aggregate taxes.
    • POS Sales Upload Profile: Configuration that defines how POS sales data is uploaded and processed.
    • Tax Calculation Procedure: Aggregate taxes are part of the tax calculation procedure in SD.

    Summary:

The error WG077 indicates missing or incorrect aggregate tax key entries for the POS sales upload profile. Maintaining the aggregate tax keys in the system and ensuring the POS profile references valid keys will resolve the issue.
