How To Fix VY006 - Shipment cost type for shipping type &1 could not be determined

What causes this issue?

The <DS:DE.SHTYP>shipment type</> &V1& of the shipment to be calculated
is not assigned to a <DS:DE.FKART_T>shipment cost type</>

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

In the configuration menu for shipment costs, you can
<DS:TRAN.T_57>assign a shipment cost type</> to every shipment type.
Alternatively, you can enter the shipment cost type directly in the
initial screen of transaction VI01.
