How To Fix VW119 - Overflow summing quantities in the deliveries

What causes this issue?

An overflow was reported as the quantity fields (weight, volume) of the
deliveries (inbound deliveries) for the planning header were being added
up.

System Response

The system sets the corresponding accumulated quantity field of the
shipment or free delivery to zero.

How to fix this error?

The problem can be avoided by specifying a different unit of measurement
for shipping type &V1& (e.g.: tonnes instead of kilograms) in
Customizing.
