An IFL is almost exactly the same as a normal central processor. The
only difference is that the IFL lacks two instructions that the CP has,
and which are used only by z/OS. Linux and z/VM do not use these
instructions.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
