• Message text: Not possible to create HU, due to an error in the load carrier

What causes this issue?

The handling unit cannot be created because either the material number
for the load carrier was not found, or the load carrier is not defined
as such.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check that a material master record exists for the material number of
the load carrier.
Check that a <LS>packaging material category</> has been assigned to
the load carrier. This packaging material category must be assigned
entry 'A' or 'C' in the <LS>packaging material type</> field in
Customizing.
