What causes this issue?

Since the indicator Extend Delivery was activated in the user role, the
system was able to add the handling units that you selected to the
deliveries.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

System Response

If the appropriate delivery item still had enough unpacked quantity left
before the HU was assigned, the delivery did not need to be extended.
If the unpacked quantity was not sufficient, or the existing delivery
item did not match the HU item, the HUs could only be added to the
delivery because one of the following situations has occurred:
The quantity of the existing delivery item was increased
One or more new delivery items have been added
One or more new deliveries have been created
