What causes this issue?

You have tried to delete the mapping, which does not include a
characteristic from the selected used-vehicle model. This is a global
mapping which links characteristics from the new vehicle model to
characteristics of the used-vehicle model. It is displayed for
information purposes only and cannot be deleted.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

If you want to delete this mapping, start transaction VELOCM and specify
the used-vehicle model whose configuration includes this characteristic.
