What causes this issue?

Here are some possible causes:
a <GL:hierarchy_node>hierarchy node</> customer number does not exist
sales data in a hierarchy node customer master is not available
a hierarchy node account is inadmissible
a hierarchy node sales area is inadmissible
a <GL:customer_hierarchy>customer_hierarchy</> account group assignment
is inadmissible
a customer hierarchy sales area assignment is inadmissible
an assignments validity period is inadmissible
a superordinate assignment is not active during the whole period (gaps
in time)

How to fix this error?

Please review the causes above. Use the error analysis function if you
have to.
