- Indicate which address you want to use ?The SAP error message VA013: "Indicate which address you want to use" typically occurs in the Sales and Distribution (SD) module when there is ambiguity regarding the address to be used for a customer or a transaction. This can happen in various scenarios, such as when creating a sales order, quotation, or any other document that requires customer address information.
Cause:
- Multiple Addresses: The customer master record may have multiple addresses (e.g., different shipping or billing addresses), and the system requires you to specify which one to use.

Solution:
- Specify the Address: When prompted with the error message, you should explicitly select or enter the address you want to use. This can usually be done by navigating to the address section of the sales document and choosing the appropriate address.
- Check Customer Master Data: Review the customer master data (transaction code

for sales area data) to ensure that the addresses are correctly maintained and that there are no missing or incomplete fields.- Maintain Default Addresses: If applicable, ensure that default addresses are set up for the customer in the master data. This can help the system automatically select the correct address in future transactions.
- Review Document Type Configuration: If the issue persists, check the configuration of the sales document type in the SAP Customizing Implementation Guide (IMG) to ensure that it is set up correctly to handle address selection.
- User Training: Ensure that users are trained on how to select addresses correctly in the system to avoid confusion.
