- Go to transaction code
MM03
(Display Material) and enter the material number.- Check if the material is defined for the relevant sales organization and distribution channel.
- If it is not defined, you will need to create or update the material master data.
Create/Update Material for Sales Org and Distribution Channel:
- Use transaction code
MM01
(Create Material) orMM02
(Change Material).- Ensure that you select the appropriate views, particularly the Sales Organization Data view.
- Enter the relevant sales organization and distribution channel, and fill in the necessary details.
Check Language Settings:
- Ensure that the material description and other relevant fields are maintained in the required language.
- You can check this in the Basic Data view of the material master.
Check Configuration:
- Ensure that the sales organization and distribution channel are correctly configured in the system.
- You can check this in the configuration settings under Sales and Distribution (SD) in the IMG (Implementation Guide).
Consult with Your SAP Administrator:
- If you do not have the necessary permissions to make changes, consult with your SAP administrator or the person responsible for maintaining material master data.
