Message number: 009
Message text: Select a valid target position to move the node
The target of a drag and drop action, a cut and paste action, or a copy
and paste action in <LS>Hierarchy Processing</> must be a node.
One possibility is that the target is the <LS>?</> symbol. This symbol
represents multiple nodes that the system is not currently displaying.
The limit to the number of nodes that the system can display is
determined by the user parameter <AB>MDG_HRYUI_NODE_LIMIT</>.
Action is canceled. No change has been performed.
If you click the <LS>?</> symbol, the hidden nodes are shown, and you
can then move nodes beside or below the formerly hidden nodes.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Cause:
- Invalid Target Position: The target position you are trying to move the node to may not be a valid position in the hierarchy. This could be due to the target position being inactive, not existing, or not being allowed for the type of node you are trying to move.

- Data Integrity Issues: There could be issues with the data integrity of the hierarchy, such as circular references or missing parent nodes.
- User Permissions: The user may not have the necessary permissions to perform the move operation.
Solution:
- Check Target Position: Ensure that the target position you are trying to move the node to is valid. Verify that it exists in the hierarchy and is active.
- Review Hierarchy Rules: Check if there are any specific rules or constraints that apply to the hierarchy you are working with. This may involve consulting with your SAP MDG configuration team.
- Data Validation: Validate the hierarchy data to ensure there are no integrity issues. This may involve checking for circular references or ensuring that all parent nodes are correctly defined.
- User Permissions: Confirm that you have the necessary permissions to perform the move operation. If not, contact your system administrator to obtain the required access.
- Use the Correct Functionality: Make sure you are using the correct functionality in the SAP MDG interface for moving nodes. Sometimes, the user interface may have specific steps that need to be followed.
