  • What causes this issue?

    The enhanced edition management becomes active when the switch
    MDG_EDITIONS is switched on, for example by activation of the business
    function MDG_FINANCIALS_4. If the edition logic was already used before,
    the data must be converted into the format needed by the enhanced
    edition management. This upgrade is automatically started when the
    switch is activated.
    The reason why edition upgrade is not yet completed can be as follows:
    The edition upgrade is still running.
    The edition upgrade was terminated because of a program error.

    The system prevents the change or saving of master data in data model
    &V1& until the edition upgrade has been completed.
