- No change request is assigned to you ?The SAP error message USMD2137 ("No change request is assigned to you") typically occurs in the context of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) when a user attempts to make changes to master data but does not have an active change request assigned to them. This can happen for several reasons, and here are the common causes, solutions, and related information:
Causes:
- No Active Change Request: The user is trying to edit or approve master data without an active change request assigned to them.
- Authorization Issues: The user may not have the necessary authorizations to access or create change requests.
- Change Request Status: The change request may be in a status that does not allow further changes (e.g., it may be completed or rejected).

- If no change request is available, the user may need to create a new change request or request one from an authorized user.
Review User Authorizations:
- Verify that the user has the necessary authorizations to create or edit change requests. This may involve checking the user's role assignments in the SAP system.
- If necessary, consult with your SAP security team to ensure the user has the correct roles assigned.
Change Request Status:
- Check the status of the change request. If it is not in a status that allows changes (e.g., "Completed"), the user may need to initiate a new change request or work with someone who can modify the existing one.
