SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message number: 707

  • Message text: Values for char. &1 in level &2 of area &3 are incorrectly restricted

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

Either characteristic &V1& was transferred to the planning function as
parameter KN_CONF or KN_VERS, or it was generated automatically in a
multiplanning area. For this reason, there has to be a restriction to
exactly one level in planning level &V2& of area &V3&, which defines an
access method. In the present instance, however, there is a restriction
to several values or value ranges.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

Restrict characteristic &V1& in planning level &V2& of planning area
    &V3& to exactly one value.
For more information about how to define access methods using planning
areas of the knowledge base, see the documentation in the SAP Library
under <LS>Business Planning and Simulation -> Planning Applications ->
Customer Relationship Analytics -> Sales and Promotion Planning for the
    Consumer Goods Industry</>.
