Message type: E = Error
Message class: UPP_PP_K - Messages for Planning Processor Core
Message number: 008
Message text: Too many rows for the entry screen, see long text
In manual planning, at most 9999 rows can be processed in the entry
screen per characteristic combination of characteristics in the header
area of the planning layout. However, &V1& rows were generated
internally for the entry screen.
The action is terminated.
Measure the selection in the planning package, so that no more than
9999 rows are generated. In planning layouts use the option 'all
possible characteristic combinations' with caution, as the system
possibly generates an awful lot of characteristic combinations. The F1
documentation on the <DS:DE.UPP_Y_FB_DOCU>All Possible Characteristic
Combinations</> option in the layout definition, contains more
information on the effects.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Breaking down the data into smaller batches and processing them separately.
Check Configuration Settings: Review the configuration settings in the SAP system to see if the maximum number of rows can be adjusted. This may require assistance from an SAP Basis or configuration expert.
Use Alternative Transactions: If the transaction you are using has a known limit, consider using alternative transactions or reports that can handle larger datasets.
