Message text: Serious error in Excel. Cancel your activity
A serious error occurred in MS Excel.
Interactive planning, and displaying/changing the layout cannot be
continued.
To restrict and remove the error if possible, proceed as follows:
Cancel your activity. Try to call up the layout again in display/change
mode, or manual planning.
If the error occurs again, then exit the planning session, to end the
transaction. Try to call up the layout again.
If the error occurs again, then exit the mode of the SAP System in
which you are working. Subsequently try to call up the layout in a new
mode.
However, if the error still occurs, then either the Excel file or the
Excel installation itself is incorrect. Therefore, check your Excel
installation (by opening or creating a local Excel file). If your Excel
installation is not incorrect, then it can be assumed that the Excel
file belonging to the layout is faulty. Create your layout again (do
not copy!) or switch the layout in the change mode to SAP ALV as the
display tool.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
