  • What causes this issue?

    You attempted to display documents that are assigned to characteristics
    contained in the planning level. However, the "Comment facility"
    indicator is not set for any of those characteristics. For that reason,
    no documents can be displayed with the current settings.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    In order to be able to display documents you must first set the
    "Comment facility" indicator for at least one of the characteristics
    contained in the planning level.
    To do this, navigate in InfoObject maintenance (transaction rsd1) in the
    BW system containing the InfoCube that you are using in the planning
    area. There you can set the "Characteristic is a document property"
    indicator for the characteristics on which you want to be able to make
    comments.
