    Either the period is already closed or it is not immediately adjacent
    to the last closed period (Note: There cannot be an open period between
    closed periods).

    The action is canceled.

    How to fix this error?

    Call up the period closing log in the Balanced Scorecard Monitor (
    <DS:TRAN.UMB_ADMIN>Start function</>) under <LS>Edit -> Period closing
    log</>. You can then check which periods are already closed and change
    your entries accordingly.
