How To Fix UGWB023 - Change in sequence due to the reassignment

SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: UGWB - Messages for Workbench

  • Message number: 023

  • Message text: Change in sequence due to the reassignment

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You dragged a node of the hierarchy to another node.
When this is done, the dragged node usually is assigned beneath the
target node. But, in this case, both nodes adjacently have the same
higher-level node; therefore, the positions of the nodes in the
    hierarchy has been changed.

    System Response

When both the target node and the reassigned node are assigned to the
same, direct node, the system inserts the reassigned node at the same
level - before or behind the target node.
In this way, you are able to change the sequence of the entries that
    are beneath the node.

    How to fix this error?

If you "insist" on inserting the reassigned node beneath the target
node, you can do one of the following:
First, temporarily assign the node under a node in another section of
the hierarchy. Then, from there you can drag it to the desired target
    node.
Delete the node from the hierarchy and then insert it again.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
