SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: UE - Messages in the user and authorizations environment

  • Message number: 133

  • Message text: Object &1 has already been exported (only restricted changes possible)

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The field list of an authorization object has a significant effect on
the consistency of the authorization concepts. Changes might have a
    disruptive effect on:
The desired result of authorization checks
The consistency of authorization default values for applications
The authorization maintenance in the Profile Generator
    The consistency of transaction definitions
The definition of authorization templates, organizational units, and
    other objects
If an authorization object has already been transported to other systems
(exported), the original developer can no longer control its use. It is
therefore no longer possible to be sure of making a universally
consistent change to the field properties of the object.
Additional changes can be made to object properties that do not have a
direct influence on authorization checks (short text, documentation,
    permissible activities, SAP_NEW classification).

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

If the field list of the authorization object no longer meets your
needs, move the object to the "obsolete authorization objects" object
class and create a suitable new authorization object.

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message UE133 - Object &1 has already been exported (only restricted changes possible) ?

The SAP error message UE133 indicates that an object (like a transport request, program, or configuration) has already been exported to a target system, and as a result, only restricted changes can be made to it. This typically occurs in the context of transport management, where changes to objects are controlled to ensure consistency across different environments (development, quality assurance, production).

    Cause:

    1. Object Already Exported: The object in question has already been exported to a target system, which means it is locked for certain types of changes.
    2. Transport Request Status: The transport request may be in a status that does not allow for full modifications (e.g., it might be released or in a state that restricts changes).
    3. Change Management Policies: Organizational policies may restrict changes to objects that have been transported to ensure stability and integrity in the target system.

    Solution:

    1. Check Transport Request Status: Verify the status of the transport request associated with the object. If it is released, you may need to create a new transport request for further changes.
    2. Create a New Transport Request: If you need to make changes to the object, create a new transport request and include the necessary changes in that request.
    3. Use Restricted Changes: If the system allows, you may be able to make restricted changes to the object. This typically involves minor adjustments that do not affect the core functionality.
    4. Consult with Basis Team: If you are unsure about the status or how to proceed, consult with your SAP Basis team or system administrator for guidance on how to handle the transport request and object changes.

    Related Information:

    • Transport Management System (TMS): Understanding how the TMS works in SAP can help you manage transports effectively.
    • Change Request Management: Familiarize yourself with the change request process in your organization, including how to handle transport requests and object modifications.
    • SAP Notes: Check for any relevant SAP Notes that may provide additional insights or solutions related to this error message.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the UE133 error and continue with your development or configuration tasks in SAP.
