What causes this issue?

The system is attempting to use an existing user layout for the display.
However, the existing characteristic values deviate from the parameters
that are currently in place.
This message is displayed especially when changes were made to the task
hierarchy and an obsolete monitor layout still exists.

System Response

The default layout will be used instead of the existing user layout.

How to fix this error?

If applicable, save the layout again.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
