    You have defined consolidation unit &V1& as a goodwill-carrying
    consolidation unit in the consolidation workbench under <LS>Master Data
    </> -> <LS>Consolidation Units</> -> <LS>Goodwill-Carrying Units</>.
    You can therefore post only the goodwill to consolidation unit &V1&. You
    cannot use consolidation unit &V1& as the default unit.

    System Response

    The Customizing settings for the default values are inconsistent and
    cannot be saved.

    How to fix this error?

    Use another consolidation unit as the default unit. This consolidation
    unit may not be defined as a goodwill-carrying consolidation unit.
