    basic field, unit characteristic, partner characteristic, allocation
    characteristic, and independent characteristic.)

    How to fix this error?

    To continue working in the current consolidation area, first you need to
    restore the consistency of the field catalog. You usually do this by
    checking and backing up the current consolidation area.
    If this message appeared while checking the consolidation area, back up
    the data basis first.
    If this message appeared while launching the workbench, proceed as
    follows:
    To be able to maintain the consolidation area or the data basis, either
    start the workbench with a different consolidation area or without a
    consolidation area at all. (In the latter case, you can only maintain
    the data basis and the consolidation area.)
    If you want to change the consolidation area in order to then start the
