What causes this issue?

The <DS:GLOS.3528EC47E8AA5570E10000009B38F983>fiscal year variant</> in
the consolidation area, &V1&, differs from that in the master data
administration of the Master Data Framework (MDF), &V2&. This applies at
least to field &V4& (&V3&). When time-dependent hierachies are accessed,
data must be converted because the periods are not identical.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Where possible, use the same fiscal year variant in the consolidation
area ea and in master data administration of the MDF. You make this
setting in the Implementation Guide (IMG) for the Master Data Framework
in the following IMG activity:
