What causes this issue?

You have linked the attribute &V2& of characteristic &V1& with the local
attribute &V3&. By doing this, the attribute is no longer directly
available for selection in the consolidation system.
However, the attribute is defined as a selection attribute.

System Response

The settings for attribute &V2& of characteristic &V1& are inconsistent
and cannot be saved.

How to fix this error?

Either use attribute &V2& of the characteristic &V1& as a display
attribute, or undo the link with local attribute &V3&.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
