What causes this issue?

If the characteristic with the role
<DS:GLOS.42EA9908C984D511B1250008C784EFB1>transaction type</> has a
higher-level characteristic then this requires the role <ZK>field type
transaction type</>.
In <DS:GLOS.3C14A7065A82D511B1250008C784EFB1>data basis</> &V1&,
characteristic &V2& has the role transaction type and is dependent on
characteristic &V3&. However, role &V4& is not assigned to this
characteristic.

System Response

The field catalog of data basis &V1& is inconsistent and cannot be
saved.

How to fix this error?

Make sure that characteristic &V2& has the role <ZK>transaction type</>.
Then assign the role <ZK>field type transaction type</> to
characteristic &V3&.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
