    What causes this issue?

    In data basis maintenance, you can also make settings that refer to the
    characteristic concerned. These settings are valid in all data bases
    that contain this characteristic.
    The settings on the tab pages <ZK>Authorization/Validity Check</> and
    <ZK>Column Headings</> and the ODS object for consolidation unit
    combinations on the tab page <ZK>Data Model</> (if you use more than one
    characteristic with the role consolidation unit) belong to this type of
    setting.
    You have changed one of these cross-data basis settings.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Make sure that the settings should also be changed when the changes
    affect all data bases that contain the characteristics concerned.
