What causes this issue?

You are saving a new parameter set or overwriting an existing one.
However, a parameter set (&V1&) with the same definition as the new
parameter set you are saving already exists.

System Response

The system will not save the new parameter set. Parameter sets must have
unique definitions. Otherwise, the system is unable to decide, which
parameter set to use (for example, when starting the consolidation
monitor).

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
