What causes this issue?

While recording inventory data of consolidation unit &V1& and suppler
data of consolidation unit &V2& for product group &V3&, you either
entered the inventory quantity in the inventory data or you entered the
distribution costs per measure of unit in the supplier data. But you
did not enter both.
The inconsistency is based on the second of the following two basic
procedures for calculating group cost of goods manufactured (COGM; a
figure used in the elimination of IU P/L in inventory):
Calculation on the basis of supplier percentage rates
Calculation on the basis of inventory quantity and the COGM per unit of
measure
If either figure for the quantity-based calculation is missing, the
system cannot calculate the group COGM and, thus, the IU profit/loss.
