What causes this issue?

You are uploading master data and Customizing settings for
characteristic &V1&. But the value &V2& already exists.
According to the <DS:DE.UC_UPL_UPDATEMODE>update mode</> in the upload
method, the uploaded objects are deleted beforehand. The existing
settings for &V1& &V2& will thus be complete replaced by the uploaded
settings.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Make sure that you intended to deleted the existing settings.
