What causes this issue?

You have entered a goodwill entry with a non-blank value for the
goodwill-creating activity (or its activity number or investee unit).
However, you have not selected the <LS>Goodwill Separate from Investment
</> indicator.
The reference between a manual goodwill entry and the corresponding
goodwill-creating activity is only possible if you separate the manual
goodwill from the investment.

System Response

The system terminates processing.

How to fix this error?

Enter the goodwill entry with empty values for the goodwill-creating
activity (and its activity number and investee unit), or select the
<LS>Goodwill Separate from Investment</> indicator.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
