What causes this issue?

In all method steps, selection 1 should never be empty. It must contain
at least one restriction for a characteristic. When performing
two-sided elimination, the same applies to selection 2 in each method
step.
In method &V1& and step &V2&, selection &V3& is not defined or empty.

System Response

Method definition has an error and cannot be saved.

How to fix this error?

Check selection &V3& and fill it if necessary.
