    For technical reasons, the maximum possible number of characteristics
    that can be defined for fast entry is limited to &V1&. Note that the
    characteristics in the components "Other Differences" and "Currency
    Differences" are counted twice - once for debit assignments and once
    for credit assignments.
    The current number of components for fast entry is &V2&.
