What causes this issue?

Default values need to be defined for characteristic &V1&. Many
functions in consolidation use these default values.
Characteristic &V1& is part of a compound with characteristic &V3& and
is dependent on its characteristic values. There is no default value
for the value &V2& of independent characteristic &V3&.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Define a default value for each value of independent characteristic
&V3& for characteristic &V1&.
