What causes this issue?

Default values need to be defined for characteristic &V1&. Many
functions in consolidation use these default values.
Characteristic &V1& is part of a compound with other characteristics
and is dependent on their characteristic values. There is no default
value for value combination &V2& of the independent characteristics.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Define a default value for all value combinations of the independent
characteristics for characteristic &V1&.
