  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message U6070 - From-Time (Date/Time) &1 &2 comes BEFORE the end of &3 &4 ?

The SAP error message U6070 indicates that there is a problem with the date and time values being used in a transaction or process. Specifically, it means that the "From-Time" (the starting date and time) is set to a value that occurs before the "end" date and time specified in the system. This can happen in various contexts, such as scheduling, time management, or data entry.

    Cause:

    1. Incorrect Date/Time Entry: The user may have entered the "From-Time" incorrectly, leading to a logical inconsistency where the start time is after the end time.
    2. Data Migration Issues: If data has been migrated from another system, there may be inconsistencies in the date and time formats or values.
    3. System Configuration: There may be configuration settings in the system that are causing the date and time validation to fail.

    Solution:

    1. Check Input Values: Review the "From-Time" and "To-Time" values entered in the transaction. Ensure that the "From-Time" is earlier than the "To-Time".
    2. Correct Date/Time Format: Ensure that the date and time are entered in the correct format as expected by the SAP system.
    3. Validation Logic: If you are using custom programs or enhancements, check the logic that validates date and time entries to ensure it is functioning correctly.
    4. Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for the specific transaction or module you are working with to understand the expected date and time formats.
    5. User Training: If this error is common among users, consider providing training or guidelines on how to correctly enter date and time values.

    Related Information:

    • Transaction Codes: The error may occur in various transaction codes depending on the context (e.g., time management, scheduling).
