TU101
- If you maintain 'Corr. holiday' you must also maintain 'Factory cal.ID' ?The SAP error message TU101 indicates that when you are trying to maintain a "Corr. holiday" (Correction holiday) in the system, you must also provide a corresponding "Factory calendar ID." This error typically arises in the context of time management or personnel administration modules where holiday calendars are defined.
Cause:
The error occurs because the system requires a factory calendar ID to be associated with the correction holiday. The factory calendar defines the working days and holidays for a specific plant or organizational unit. If you attempt to maintain a correction holiday without specifying the factory calendar, the system cannot determine how this holiday interacts with the working days defined in the factory calendar.
Solution:
To resolve this error, you need to ensure that you maintain both the correction holiday and the factory calendar ID. Here are the steps to do this:
Access the relevant configuration or maintenance transaction: Depending on your SAP version, this could be in the IMG (Implementation Guide) or a specific transaction code (like PA30 for maintaining employee data).
Maintain the Factory Calendar ID:
- Navigate to the section where you can maintain the factory calendar.
- Ensure that you have a valid factory calendar ID defined for the relevant organizational unit or plant.
Maintain the Correction Holiday:
- Go to the section where you can maintain correction holidays.
- When entering the details for the correction holiday, make sure to also specify the factory calendar ID that you have defined.
Save your changes: After entering the necessary information, save your changes.
Test the configuration: After making the changes, test the configuration to ensure that the error no longer appears when you try to maintain the correction holiday.
