What causes this issue?

The billing period is shorter than the meter reading period. Either the
period length derived from the fields <LS>length</> and <LS>period
category</> is shorter for the portion than for the allocated meter
reading unit, or the period lengths do not match.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

The billing period must be as long or several times (no fractions) as
long as the meter reading period
