The SAP error message TR_AUSL511 indicates that there is an attempt to modify central main components in a transport request, which is not allowed. This typically occurs in the context of transport management in SAP, where certain components are protected from modification to maintain system integrity and consistency.

    Cause:

    1. Central Main Components: The error arises when you try to modify objects that are classified as central main components. These components are usually part of the core SAP system and are protected to prevent unintended changes that could affect the entire system landscape.
    2. Transport Request Type: The transport request you are working with may not have the necessary permissions or may be of a type that does not allow modifications to central components.
    3. System Configuration: The system may be configured to restrict changes to certain components to ensure stability and compliance with best practices.

    Solution:

    1. Check Transport Request Type: Ensure that you are using the correct type of transport request. If you need to modify central components, you may need to create a different type of transport request or use a different approach.
    2. Authorization: Verify that you have the necessary authorizations to make changes to the components in question. You may need to consult with your SAP Basis or security team to ensure you have the right permissions.
    3. Use of Customizing Requests: If you are trying to make changes to customizing settings, ensure that you are using a customizing transport request (e.g., a customizing request instead of a workbench request).
    4. Consult Documentation: Review SAP documentation or notes related to transport management and the specific components you are trying to modify. There may be specific guidelines or restrictions in place.
    5. Contact SAP Support: If you are unable to resolve the issue, consider reaching out to SAP support for assistance. They can provide guidance based on the specific components and system configuration you are working with.
